On our latest team trip, we traded the office for rolling vineyards, medieval castles, and endless flavors in Spain’s Ribera del Duero wine region. Here’s a peek into our memorable journey:
We began at a legendary producer that’s been perfecting its iconic jamón for over 120 years. Touring their natural cellars, we learned the secrets of the curing process before savoring silky slices of their award-winning ham.

From there, we visited a charming family-owned winery located in a historical estate for an informative tasting. The next day brought a different vibe at a more modern winery, where wine meets haute cuisine. We tasted seven wines, each paired with a gourmet tapa from their on-site Michelin-starred restaurant, ending in a stunning tasting room with panoramic vineyard views.
After so much indulgence, we unwound at a serene, luxury hotel spa, complete with thermal pools, a sauna, and a chilled glass of Cava. Pure bliss.

We couldn’t miss the wine museum at Peñafiel Castle before heading to Valladolid, where the tapas scene blends tradition and creativity. We strolled the historic streets, sampling unforgettable bites, and ended our journey with a Michelin-starred lunch.
In this region, culture, history, gastronomy, and hospitality weave together seamlessly.
