Say hello to Enrique, our recently appointed co-director! Since joining Valesa in 2018, he’s been a driving force in the company. Now in his new position, he’s bringing fresh perspective, bold ideas, and a love of discovery that fits perfectly with our spirit.
Adjusting to the role has meant shifting gears: from the daily rhythm of client work to the bigger picture of strategy, marketing, and creativity. With a degree in tourism, a master’s in sales and marketing management, and years of hotel sales experience, he’s well-equipped to guide Valesa into its next chapter.
What excites him most? Taking travel agents on FAM trips to show them “the Valesa way” firsthand—immersing them in the philosophy that makes our trips special. On the flip side, the toughest challenge is finding partners who don’t just work in travel but live it, with a genuine passion for art, gastronomy, and history.
Outside the office, you’ll find him scouting hidden corners of Spain and Portugal to bring clients unique experiences, cooking for friends, or enjoying a well-deserved gin and tonic on a sunny terrace.
His top tip for travelers to Spain, Portugal, or Morocco? “Be adventurous, have an open mind, and try to blend in with local culture.” At Valesa, that’s what we do best—helping you step into the heart of these destinations for a truly immersive journey.
