While winter is the perfect time to dream of an island escape, Mallorca is best enjoyed with a bit of insider knowledge. Like many Mediterranean destinations, the island follows a seasonal rhythm—and timing makes all the difference.

From December through February, many resorts, restaurants, and beach towns close for the winter. The island begins to reawaken in March, making now the ideal time to start planning your Mallorca getaway.

In fact, our first FAM trip of the year will take place in Mallorca this March—giving a special group of advisors firsthand experience of the island as it enters its most beautiful transitional season.

From March through May, mild temperatures and blooming landscapes create ideal conditions for exploration. Hike the Tramuntana Mountains without summer heat, relax on peaceful beaches, or kayak along calm, crystal-clear waters.

Spring also offers excellent value. With lower prices and fewer crowds, travelers can wander Palma’s medieval streets, explore inland mountain villages, or enjoy intimate wine tastings at hidden-gem wineries. Iconic sights like Mallorca Cathedral and Alcúdia Old Town are far more enjoyable without peak-season congestion.

From June through August, Mallorca reaches its liveliest—and hottest—months. Warm Mediterranean waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, but crowds increase and prices rise. With expert planning, however, summer can still be unforgettable.

With deep destination knowledge, we help travelers experience Mallorca at its very best—no matter when they go.
